I am a Career Coach and I help introverts in IT and members of the English as a Second Language (ESL) community get a job they’re passionate about and thrive in their careers.
Before I started coaching, I was an IT Consultant for almost 9 years, working for some of the largest IT firms in the world (Accenture, Infosys, etc). I’ve led multi-million dollar projects throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle and I have experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Developer, QA tester and Business Analyst. However, the part I always enjoyed the most about my previous jobs was helping my fellow co-workers develop and grow in their roles.
With the right mindset, I truly believe anything is possible. For example, in 2017, I decided to leave my consulting job to work and study in Santiago, Chile, in order to fulfill my dream of learning Spanish. After 2 years of studying Spanish and working as a Business English Teacher, I was able to land a consulting job leading the first Agile project in Chile for one of the largest mining companies in the world. After this challenging but rewarding experience, I decided to get certified as a Coach at the Newfield Network (ICF Accredited Program). I learned an ontological approach to coaching so that I could help others get the job of their dreams, thrive in their careers and lead a more fulfilling life in general.

I'm now back in the United States and I provide online career coaching services to introverts and/or people that speak English as a second language around the world.

In Chile, I even interviewed in my second language, Spanish, after only having a few years of High School Spanish and 2 years of living in a Spanish-speaking country under my belt; so, I've proven that my process transcends different cultures and languages. Additionally, my clients have gotten jobs at companies such as META, Amazon and Qualcomm. I know with the right mindset and work ethic, it can work for you too!

What does my coaching process look like?
I begin by reviewing your resume and providing feedback based on the jobs you would like to apply to. I will also provide guidance on how to network and craft personalized messages to recruiters and hiring managers to improve your chances of landing an interview. Next, I'll help you draft compelling STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) situations that align closely with the key responsibilities of the job(s) you're applying to. Then, I'll provide detailed advice on what to say and what not to say during interviews, help you develop personalized responses to some of the most common behavioral interview questions as well as company specific interview questions (if publicly available), and prepare a list of insightful questions for you to ask your interviewer. I will also conduct mock interviews and give you constructive feedback. Once you get the job offer, I will provide guidance on salary/benefits negotiations, and I'll be available to answer any questions you may have throughout your entire interview process. I know the job searching process can be stressful and demoralizing at times, but I will keep you accountable and motivated every step of the way!
